Our Civic Duty to Vote

We, as the residents of Michigan, have the awesome privilege and duty to choose the leaders who will represent us in Lansing and Washington.

It is our duty as Responsible Citizens to do everything possible to ensure that those who fill those civil government positions are pro-life, pro-natural marriage and supportive of limited government in all seats of elected power.

Ensuring people who represent your values are in the seats of decision maker does not happen overnight but it comes from a long term engagement. But, each moment builds upon another moment.

Also, the results of good government does not come, dependent on someone else’s engagement but as Responsible Christian Citizens it rests on you.
Never underestimated your presence at the polls, your ability to help change a candidate’s position, or the number of people who do depend on the information you provide them before heading to the polls.

The government rests on God’s shoulders, but He gives us an opportunity to participate in it.

“Let each citizen remember at the moment he is offering his vote that he is not making a present or a compliment to please an individual – or at least that he ought not so to do; but that he is executing one of the most solemn trusts in human society for which he is accountable to God and his country.”
Samuel Adams (1722-1803), “Father of the American Revolution”

“Select capable men . . . who fear God, trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain . . . and have them serve the people with justice at all times.”
Exodus 18:21 – 22
