It’s Time to Know: What do they believe?
- Do you know what your local leaders’ worldview is?
- Do you know what your local Political party stands for?
- Do you know what your Pastor or Church leader believes?
You need to know. And if you don’t know – it’s time to ask.
Too often we assume our leaders believe like we do. But if you do not see them putting action to their beliefs, you need to scrutinize and dig deeper.
Jesus tells us that beliefs are not enough. Our faith must be coupled with actions. And we are living in a day and age that is in desperate need for men and women of God to be putting action into defending what they know to be truth.

Foundations Matter
Social issues still matter – because social values have economic consequences.
Research consistently shows that culture, trust, family stability and community institutions influence economic opportunity and human well-being.
- Stable, married, two-parent families are associated with greater economic security and, on average, better outcomes for adults and children.
- A society’s respect for human dignity – from unborn children to people with disabilities and those nearing the end of life – shapes its laws, health-care practices, public priorities and responsibilities to the vulnerable.
- Religious participation is associated with social connection, community involvement and several measures of health and well-being. Religious freedom also allows faith communities to worship, serve and strengthen civil society.
We cannot separate economic policy from the values that shape families, institutions and human behavior. We cannot separate social values from our elections.
Social values cannot be ignored in elections because the people we elect make decisions about both our economic system and the kind of society that system is meant to serve.
Ask the questions, review our voter guides, scrutinize where people stand: do they champion life, religious freedom, the santicity of the marriage and the home?
YES the economy matters but it is tied to traditional family values. Never lose sight of that. Our cause is social – and economic.
