About us

Citizens for Traditional Values (CTV) is a nonprofit civic league founded in 1983 working on the grassroots level to encourage an active and informed citizenry in the State of Michigan. CTV seeks to broaden public understanding of the importance of personal freedom and traditional family values; and to work for the adoption of laws and public policies which reflect those values. This is accomplished by educating, networking, and mobilizing the pro-life, pro-family community.

What we do

Recognized by elected leaders and citizens as one of the leading voices in Michigan on behalf of social and economic issues, CTV is known to be a credible, accurate and positive force for Judeo-Christian values.

We consistently:

Monitor issues and participate in discussions with key opinion and elected leaders concerning social conservative issues.
Help candidates and legislators effectively interact with, represent, and reach out to the traditional family values voter.
Identify, recruit, and educate pro-life and pro-family voters and their church leaders on the importance of responsible Christian citizenship.
Train and engage grassroots citizen patriots on how to successfully participate in and influence the public conversation.
Enlighten families with the truth of our Christian heritage and the importance of preserving our freedoms and liberties for the next generation.

Why you?

Many people who share conservative/traditional Judeo-Christian values do not exercise their voting privileges. These same people often complain that their values are not being represented in public policy and grumble about public officials who are not upholding moral principles. This indifference is often the reason why our values are not represented. The only way for our values to win at the polls is for those who share those values to vote at the polls!
