CTV INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY

We are currently looking for quality individuals that would help us with our office operation and organizational projects. We are looking for an intern to help by making phone calls recruiting grassroots activists, helping with administrative details, research projects, working with our database, event planning and production, mailings, answering the phone, and other general office duties. If you know of any upper classman high schooler, or any college age student that is interested in interning for a non-profit, grassroots organization, please let them know we are currently taking applications.

We would ask that they come in each week for at least 1 – 2 days, hours are flexible. It is not necessary that the applicant be in the Lansing area, but they must have the ability to travel back and forth. Time commitment is flexible.

If they are interested, please have them fill out this application (PDF) and submit it, with a resume, to our office via email (ctv@ctvmichigan.org) or by fax (517-321-6077). Once we receive the application, we will review it. If we determine there is the possibility of a good fit between individual and organizational needs, we will contact the student to set up an interview as soon as possible.

If you have any questions, please call us at 517-321-1390.

This internship is a great opportunity to gain insight on how a grassroots organization works and get involved with the political process in Michigan. It is possible that through this experience, they will be able to build their own professional and personal networks with legislators and organizations in Michigan.

Thank you for sharing this opportunity with students in your network.
